    hi,
are there any original AKA manufactured coils at 15" or 13" in white color?
I have only saw all manufactured in black color, i saw this one made in white shell...could that be a fake?

Just compared with my 15"@3 kHz coil and it looks the very same way.
I have never met white AKA coils before...

It could be a coil produced by MarsMD. They buy coil hulls from AKA from time to time

How unusual. A white AKA coil. I wonder if Igor of Stiv might be able to shed some light on this.

    Hi SuchMuch,
What do you mean by saying "custom coil" ? Was it built for someone especially, let say at a lower frequency such 1.5 khz by AKA ?

    Thanks

Hi SuchMuch, sorry to bother you with so many questions..lol

You think that a 1.5khz coil would be better then a 3khz coil? If i remember correctly you stated somewhere that custom coils at 1.5 khz the detector can be cranked up to almost maximum with no falsings ?
What other custom coils have you heard that came manufactured by AKA, in terms of specifications besides the ones at 1.5 khz.

    regards

1,5 kHz is for large solid objects. This frequency is usually used by WW2 entusiasts. 3 kHz would be the best for other kinds of targets.
Better to discuss subject question directly with AKA.

    Thanks SuchMuch,
i bought the white coil at 16 khz. Will have them both tested now. I bought a black 15' at 3khz and now the white one at 16 khz.
I am curious how the 16 khz will work, especially being a custom coil. Will have my Signum upgraded next month in Bulgaria as well to a MFD, will test the deep mode as well.
I tried to find some infos on coils at 15"@ 16 khz but not much info can be found.

15"@16 kHz is for dry extra light/light grounds only. It will produce lots of falsings on other types of grounds.

This coil is not a PTS for sure.

Frankly speaking, it's not the best idea to buy this coil until it costs nothing

And you'll find nothing about subject coil since it's rarely produced. AKA avoids producing even 13"@14 kHz due to high frequency in large size gives lots of falsings
