I brought that mask and snorkel along with split flippers 12 years ago. I used to go to pool beach every weekend with the wife diving. Love it, absolutely love it. The water down there is so clear.

I really like the look of that snorkel, really handy in conjunction with a dry suit in the colder months, should keep the face a lot warmer being fully covered.

    more kit.
    14" plastic riddle ,10mm holes . £3.50
then wrap a 26" inner-tube around it twice so it floats .
i do plan to pick a random spot and keep digging a metre square ,and seiving it ,see how deep i go before i get down to something medieval . found a almost intact clay pipe right on surface in the side few days ago . 20160819_132027.jpg 20160819_132043.jpg

Nigel thanks for posting this. Going to buy a mask. Forgot about wet suits. Looks like they've come a long way. Mine from the 60's was powder when I dug it out years ago.. Black dust.. I used to burn wood in the Winter, free but for the work.Put in a gas heater that works well, so thanks to you I may go to Florida and do some fossil / artifact hunting at Sanlando springs,, this Winter
