20 metal detectors Piligrim MFT 7247 are ready now. Some of them are powered with 4xAA batteries, some with 6xAA batteries (SuchMuch Remark: AKA has not figured out yet how many batteries (4 or 6) would be the best to run Piligrim-47). Software is 99% ready, 1% is for bugs should they ever appear. Right at the moment all known bugs are fixed. Several 4 and 6 battery models are being tested in real hunts.

    Technical Data:
    1. Coils are adapted automatically once new coil is equipped. Detectorist is able to make force coil adaptation by long pressing button "Ground Balance".
    2. Single frequency coils within range 2 kHz...25 kHz could be run by AKA Piligrim-47.
    3. Ground Balance is semi-automatic: press button "GB", pump coil until Ground Signal sound disappeared and triumph melody is played. Manual GB procedure probably will be added in future firmware versions.
    4. Distance in air 5 kopecks USSR is detected with 10"@7 kHz: 4xAA model - 38 cms, 6xAA - 45 cms. All settings allow to hunt comfortable with no false signals at the same time.
    5. Wireless headphones option is available but subject to be tested intensively.
    6. Firmware could be updated via special usb cable locally. Cable is provided as an option.
    7. Metal detector Piligrim MFT 7247 is not an analogue machine. Firmware version with analogue sound probably will be worked out later.
    8. Piligrim-47 is a multi tone metal detector. With knob "DISCRIM" user is able to discriminate iron, foil etc. If detectorist is willing to hunt with "open screen", knob should be set on zero.

My choice will be 6 batteries , more power, more battery life ?
    --- Double Post Merged, May 5, 2017 ---
I think aka could do well with this one , easy set up , not everyone wants all this vid screens and many adjustments , a simple , deep , light, fast, good disc, machine , for the correct price .. after English testing on our soils , with comparisons with other machines. Let's hope it performs , and released, AKA will loose ground on other makers . It seems to me , aka are too slow , let's get this one out and the intronik, been far to long in waiting , aka please take note ...... vinny

The right question would be: if AKA is participating Detectival?

There is 1 thing you should know about Piligrim-47: different firmwares (in connection with detectorist preferences) could be uploaded into P-47 and I quess it could be done locally without sending detector back to AKA facilities. Firmware upgrades could be flashed locally as well
